New investment: DeFi Land
We are proud to announce our new investment. DeFi Land is an addition to our portfolio.
DeFi Land is a multi-chain agriculture-simulation web game created to gamify decentralized finance, the game will have all the features that traditional platforms have, but it will be gathered all in one place. DeFi Land is being built on Solana and it offers everything that players need — one of the fastest transaction processing speeds alongside near-zero fees. The team is actively developing the game to be launched as soon as possible: DeFi Land v1.0 is expected to launch this summer with lots of amazing rewards and gifts for the community.
What is more, DeFi Land became one of the grand prize winners in DeFi Track in the Solana Season Hackathon — one of the largest online hackathons ever.
The investment round is full of well-established funds such as Alameda Research, GBV, NGC, Rarestone, Solana Foundation, and more.
We see a huge potential in the Solana ecosystem as the key driver of the decentralized world. We see DeFi Land as an interesting addition to our portfolio with huge potential. We are thrilled to spread the idea of making a decentralized finance industry fun, easy-to-learn and gamified. We’re proud to have them in our portfolio and to be among such amazing investors as Alameda.
— Alex M, Managing Partner of Cryptomeria Capital.
DeFi Land aims to become the first gamified protocol aggregator on blockchain. Even though DeFi Land is going to be a multi-chain game, we are starting with Solana as we believe it has the best potential among all the L1s out there. Our partnership with Cryptomeria Capital is really exciting as we will be collaboratively penetrating Chinese market to make DeFi more accessible for the masses.
